And one more example related to gas module repairs. Here in Charleston, South Carolina, we’re at sea level and our weather is typically pretty warm. Gas modules are sensitive to barometric pressure and air composition. So, when we send a repaired gas module back to a client in a colder climate or higher elevation, the unit might show an inaccurate reading.
The fix might be as simple as a reset code. Those aren’t always easy to find, so again our sales reps can coordinate a call with our technicians to reset the gas module so it can readjust to the climate.
That’s a faster, easier, and less expensive option than shipping the equipment back to us for a repair that could have been fixed over the phone.
