This month we join a select club of businesses that hit the 20-year mark. Only about 20% of businesses achieve this milestone, and we are immensely grateful to have been serving customers for two decades.
Twenty years ago, we started with a simple goal: fix what others couldn’t and serve with integrity. As we mark our 20th anniversary on March 22, we’re still fixing what others can’t and serving with integrity.
President Joe Harper founded Sage Services Group in 2006 as a regional patient monitoring sales and service company in Charleston, S.C.
The company grew rapidly and by 2010, we launched a regional sales force. We continue to grow our sales team today, expanding into new territories and serving more customers around the United States.
By 2011, we were regularly receiving requests for help with patient monitoring accessories. So, we launched a full line of accessories, including ECG leads, trunk cables, SpO2 adaptor cables, SpO2 sensors, pneumatic hoses, BP cuffs, and temperature probes – with each available in disposable and reusable platforms.
We continue to expand services, innovate, and look for ways to provide customers with the highest quality repairs and accessories.
- 2015: We earned our ISO 9001 certification.
- 2016: We launched our Guardian products, a patented line of protective telemetry cases.
- 2017: We acquired Insite Electronic Services in Spartanburg, S.C. With a second location, we could increase both service capacity and capabilities.
- 2018: We added the ISO 13485 designation.
Along the way, we’ve added more incredible clients, attended scores of trade shows, expanded our rock star team, and snagged a few accolades for our efforts.
In 2020 and 2021, Sage Services Group was named to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies.
And in 2024, we were honored to win the inaugural Tech Choice Award for Outstanding Vendor of the Year. TechNation magazine recognized individuals and companies in healthcare technology management with its inaugural Tech Choice Awards.
It’s incredible to look back over two decades and see how our industry has changed and how much technology has evolved. We are constantly learning and training our team to keep up with new equipment and customer needs. The Sage Services repair team is the best in the business. We continue to repair what others can’t – one of our goals from day one.
And, we’ve stayed focused on serving with integrity since 2006. Serving with excellence our team members and the healthcare professionals who depend on us.
